New York City Subway Platforms to Go Wireless in Revived Accord
After an almost three-year delay, work is set to begin on a $200 million plan to bring mobile- phone and Wi-Fi service to New York’s subway stations.
This is not a green light have loud conversations on your iPhone, people.
I do not approve of this Wireless Subway Platforms business. How will I get off of phone calls I’d rather not have/that are going on way too long without the “I’m jumping on the subway, let me call you back” excuse.
Same goes for when I don’t feel like picking up and kick someone straight to voicemail. “I was on the the train, it must have sent you straight to voicemail” cannot be removed from my arsenal.
Oh, people. You know if you were used to wireless being on the subway and it got taken away you’d be freaking out even more.
