It is so difficult to rent an apartment with you three. We need a yard, and agreeable landlord, and space for you all to spread out (although, maybe space isn’t so much of an issue; you never seem to be too far from me, and I’m forever tripping over someone).
Difficulty aside, you guys make me happy. Especially now, curled up and asleep, three slow-breathing, comma-shaped balls of snoozing fur. You all look so quiet and content; the definition of “peace”.
In the movie there’s a woman and she had bad stuff to her happen as a kid, like experiments or something, and they were performed by the government. I think on orphans. As an adult she goes around killing everyone that performed the experiements, and then she leaves a flower behind (a rose?) when she’s done. There was this one woman who performed the experiments (or something) that was actually kind to the children but was “doing her job” and the woman sneaks into her house at night to kill her but rather than do it violently, we see her sitting at the edge of the older woman’s bed. The older woman wakes up, realizes who she is and what she’s come to do, and they chat for a few minutes rather warmly. The older woman finally says, “Well, do it quickly and painlessly” and the younger woman says, “I already did while you were sleeping” and then the woman dies.
